Welcome to “Damavand”,
The sixth track from the EP and mini-suite Az Zagros Ta Zuiderzee (in translation: “From Zagros to Zuiderzee”) by Marvash. A video discussing the story and musical analysis of “Damavand” will be released soon.

This EP embraces and bridges two cultures – Iran and The Netherlands – offering a unique musical experience.
Inspired by the magnificent presence of Mount Damavand in Persian literature and imagination, this piece channels both reverence and energy — blending ancient atmospheres with a modern arrangement.
