About Tiera Kennedy: Born and raised in Gardendale, Alabama, 27-year-old R&B/Country/Gospel trailblazer Tiera Kennedy is in bloom. Inspired by artists like Aaliyah and Loretta Lynn, she released her full-length debut album ROOTED on October 18, 2024—11 self-penned songs that reflect the past 8+ years she’s spent cultivating a sound all her own. Tiera’s genre-blending voice found a global spotlight when Beyoncé asked her to sing on 2025 GRAMMY Album of the Year and Country Album of the Year winner Cowboy Carter, where she’s featured on “BLACKBIIRD” and sings background vocals on “TYRANT.” She’s also collaborated with Dolly Parton and Dionne Warwick in the music video for “Peace Like A River.”

Mentored by pop-country legend Shania Twain since the start of her career, Tiera has opened for Kelsea Ballerini, Nelly, and is joining GRAMMY-nominated duo The War & Treaty on tour this spring.

“I’m stepping into an era publicly—both musically and personally—that is entirely me,” she shares. “In what I thought was my lowest low, I could finally see the roots of what had been growing all along.”
